Ephrata Nazarene Pastors

Pastor Jamey Fawcett was called to Ephrata in September 2006. Both Jamey and his wife, Christy, grew up in Ohio, but they met in Kansas City while living there for a few years! Jamey and Christy are the proud parents of two incredibly cute kids, Reya and Kade. He graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theological Studies, and is currently in the process of completing a Masters of Divinity degree. Following graduation from high school, Jamey began serving in the Army National Guard as a chaplain assistant, and has spent time deployed overseas to Baghdad, Iraq for 14 months.

At our church, Jamey serves as the minister to youth and their families. For our youth in grades 6th-12th, we have our unique worship and outreach Wednesday evenings; discipling through Sunday morning small groups; chances to use and develop musical, drama, and artistic abilities; opportunities to participate locally and globally in the needs of others; and many experiences that create great memories together. This is Jamey’s first full time position as a youth pastor, and he’s excited to be a part of what God is already doing through and for the youth that are affected by the ministry of this church.
