Since March 2008 a backpack ministry has been serving Ephrata PA, with the last 18 months having a presence of this ministry downtown Ephrata in front of the Mini Mart Dollar Store whom had graciously extended an invitation to allow a team to sit in front of their store every third Friday year round. 

Jesus reaching His people… I Peter 3:9 “may we be willing to act like Jesus; we will then be blessed and rewarded by God.”

The third Friday of every month, Main Street Ephrata offers Hope in the name of Jesus.  If you are in need of a listening ear, a bible, personal items, additional resources and/or prayer there are those who care and are available to provide… remembering, we may be the only Jesus they ever meet.  Weather permitting the Jesus Film is shown.

We continue to return to show Jesus on big screen because we do not want to miss what Jesus is already doing and to continue to meet with those who want to hear more about Jesus or meet Him for the first time.  What an amazing sight watching Jesus on big screen downtown Ephrata as traffic slowly passes by and pedestrians stop and ask why, why are we there and some have even talked about a Jesus they use to know and watching Him reminds them He is not that far away and He is calling all of us back to Himself.  During these times there have been awesome prayer times, people willing to share their lives and struggles, their hurts, burdens, loneliness and pain… and to hear about Jesus.  It is  exciting  attending each  Jesus Film showing as we know the Lord has something or someone in mind this day…for such a time as this.
